Shelvean Kapita, Direction-Adaptive Plane-Wave Discontinuous Galerkin Methods for the Helmholtz Equation. Plane-wave discontinuous Galerkin approximations in which the local propagation directions adapt by minimizing a weighted residual on the mesh skeleton, with complex angles, variable projection, and residual-based direction enrichment. I gave a talk, Building Trust Through Transparency: Teaching mathematics in the browser - no black boxes, no installs, no barriers, at the TTLC 2026 conference, whose theme this year was Teaching and Learning with Integrity. The two-day event featured a keynote and workshop by Tricia Bertram Gallant, participant-driven plenary sessions, concurrent presentations by Texas A&M faculty, and a showcase of recent recipients of the university's highest teaching excellence honors.
